Four Ways To Position Yourself As We Walk Through the Valley

Valley of Deepest Darkness

Even though we are going through the valley of deepest darkness we are not alone. The valley may be deep, it may be dark, but comfort comes knowing the Father will send life-giving springs cascading through the valley. Fear cannot conquer us, because He already conquered it! In the times of being in the dry wasteland, the desert, the wilderness, a refreshing will come to His chosen people. A cleansing is taking place. Healing is coming! So right now, trust! Where others find only pain, those who dig deep He will give a brook of blessing filled from the rain of an outpouring.

Arise to The Higher Place

There is a change in the air. The Father is calling; “come away with me, ascend and arise to the higher place”. He sees everything with pure understanding and insight, without distortion. But there has been a hindrance in our relationship and we must catch the troubling foxes that want to ruin what has been planted within us. These foxes are compromises in our hearts that steal, kill and destroy and give the enemy legal access into our lives. These foxes will also distort how we see and hear the Father. But when we go into the sanctuaries of God and in the light of His glory our distorted perspectives will vanish.

Destiny Breaking Through

Can you not discern the new day of destiny breaking through around you? The Father’s plans and purposes are about to burst forth!! So be prepared. The season for singing and pruning is here.  We must cut off everything that is unproductive and unfruitful. Stay intentional about being intimately joined with the Father or your life will be fruitless, and you will be powerless.

Awakening

There is a passionate awakening!! We will remember Your love and will rejoice. Our resting place is anointed and flourishing. In our private place- revive, refresh and hold us; as we sit near You and receive the revelation-secrets of Your promises. Ask and He will tell you remarkable secrets to come. There is an open door from Heaven and His voice is calling us to ascend and enter.

Higher Position

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego had to go through the blazing furnace (Daniel 3). They refused to follow what others around them where doing, they choose their faith. Because of this the furnace or the fire got hotter but notice in the fire, they were unbound, walking around unharmed and when they came out, they didn’t even smell like smoke. After going through the process and the fire; only then were they given a higher position.

Position Yourselves.

Here are four ways to position yourself for this season:

  1. Position your hearts. Your greatest weapon is a clean heart. Keep yourself holy. The enemy will attack your heart and use people to do so.
  2. Position yourself to hear. Be intentional about going into the secret. Another great weapon against the enemy is your intimacy with Jesus
  3. Ask God to teach you how to enter into His fullness. He has a plan and purpose for you and now is a time of preparation and impartation.
  4. Claim your territory- God will bring you into your promise land to possess it but make sure you ask God, what is my territory? Where are my boundaries?

Prayer:

Father we thank you that even though we walk through the darkest valley we are not alone. We welcome your refreshing waters and the cleansing that is taking place right now. Help us to dig deep to find the brook of blessings that you are storing for us. We want to ascend to the higher place you are calling us to, so we can be awakened and rejoice in You. Let us position ourselves to walk in the fullness of all you have for us in this season.

As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless.”

The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. For you are my dove, hidden in the split-open rock. It was I who took you and hid you up high in the secret stairway of the sky. Let me see your radiant face and hear your sweet voice. How beautiful your eyes of worship and lovely your voice in prayer. You must catch the troubling foxes, those sly little foxes that hinder our relationship. For they raid our budding vineyard of love to ruin what I’ve planted within you. Will you catch them and remove them for me? We will do it together.”
