Seven Scriptures to Pray When You Are Frustrated

Lord, I am so frustrated right now. Everything is overwhelming and falling apart. I am waiting and yet I am getting tired. How much longer to I have to wait? How much more do I have to endure before I get what you promised? My job, my bills, my household, my life feels out of control. I know your word never fails but what can I do to get through this frustration? How can stand strong when I feel so weak. How can I have joy when I am frustrated? I pray every morning and declare it is going to be a good day yet the frustration starts to creep in and take over. Lord I need your help! I can’t do this on my own.

Psalm 55:22 (GW) – Turn your burdens over to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will never let the righteous person stumble

James 1:2-4 (NLT) – Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

Philippians 4:6-7 (TLB) – Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If your do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thought and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 6:9 (NLT) – So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

Father, I thank you for the answers to my frustrations! I give all my cares, my struggles and my worries to you. You don’t want me to carry this around anymore. Remind when I want to give up that my blessings are around the corner. Fill me with your peace and joy when I start to get frustrated.

Amen!
