Many of us have had dreams in our lives but do we have wild dreams? We have dreamt of being rich, having a certain career, starting a business, having vacation houses, traveling around the world, driving a new Camaro, writing a book. We may have tried to make those wild dreams come true, we may have failed, we may have given up or thought our wild dreams are impossible. Often our dreams slip away because we are just trying to maintain our lives.
Well God doesn’t want our dreams to die, in fact, He gives us wild dreams and it is up to us to be faithful to make those dreams come true. Matthew 13:23 (MSG) – “The seed cast on good earth is the person who hears and takes in the News, and then produces a harvest beyond your wildest dreams.” God wants our wildest dreams to come true!
What are your wild dreams? And imagine them coming true!
We have an awesome Father who wants to give us the best but what is holding us back? I believe we hold ourselves back. God gives us these dreams but how often do we pursue them? You see we let the devil keep us distracted from pursuing these dreams; if you are distracted by “life” you are not fulfilling your purpose. But our Father has so much more planned for us. Ephesians 1:18 (GNB) – I ask that your minds may be opened to see his light so that you will know what is the hope to which he has called you, how rich are the wonderful blessings he promises his people.
This scripture gives us three tips to make those wild dreams come true:
- Open minds. Our minds need to be open to the Lord so we can see his light. How do we do this? By renewing our minds daily.
Romans 12:2 (NLT) – Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
- Know the hope of God! God has a plan for our lives. He wants to give us a future and a hope to make those wild dreams come true.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) – For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
- Expect wonderful blessings! God promises us wonderful blessings. He wants us to be blessed and rich without sorrow!
Proverbs 10:22 (NLT) – The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.
Are you ready to live your wild dreams?
Let’s Pray
Father thank you for the wild dreams you have given us. Help us keep an open mind by changing the way we think. Remind us that our hope comes from you and to always expect your wonderful blessings. Let us never give up on our wild dreams.
Amen!
