One Scripture to Encourage you to Go From Nothing to Something

The past couple of weeks I have been preparing for a Facebook live event called Accelerate your Spring that will take place, this Saturday, April 28, 2018. This is an awesome opportunity and I am so excited but then I realize, what did I get myself into! LOL.

The Lord has a way of taking us out of our comfort zone. So, as I was praying for this event, the Lord, reminded me of this prayer I wrote for my book. And I want to share it with you.

There are times when we have felt like nothing. We have been rejected by the one we have loved. But we have a greater love! 1 Peter 2:9-10 is a powerful scripture and a reminder that we have a purpose and a high calling. Today be an instrument of God and let Him show you how to go from nothing to something.

From Nothing to Something

1 Peter 2:9-10 (MSG) – But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you- from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.

Lord, thank you for choosing me. You have called me to high places. I am called to do your mighty work, to show your goodness. I have been chosen to shine your light for others to see. Lord use me as your instrument to tell others what you have done for me. Help me to reach my full potential in you, to do what you have called me to do. Thank you for saving me, calling me to this time, to this generation, to reach your chosen that are lost. Thank you for your victory so I can be an example of your mercy. I was once lost but you found me. You picked me up out of the darkness. I was once rejected but now accepted by you. You have restored me and paid the ultimate price to redeem me. You have delivered me from nothing to something.

Amen!
