Each and every one of us has been called.

We are anointed and set apart as His masterpiece. We were created in Christ to live His life; ready to be used for the good works that God has already prepared for us. We are highly favored and chosen to be victorious. Our life was designed with purpose and seeds of greatness are about to spring forward. But what are we called to do?

 Jeremiah 1:5 (AMP) “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instruments], And before you were born I consecrated you [to Myself as My own]; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

God has called and approved us to be His prophet to the nations. According to Siri the definition of prophet- is a person regarded as an inspired teacher or proclaimer of the will of God. Our job is to proclaim, teach and inspire the goodness of God. Many of us are just going through the motions of life but we have a higher calling.

Matthew 22:14 (NLT) For many are called but few are chosen.

Why are only a few chosen? Because not everyone submits to their calling. There are many dreams, songs, books and potential that is buried in the nearest graveyard, why? Just think of all who were called but never submitted.

Are you submitting to your calling?

Romans 8:30 (NLT) – and having chosen them he called them to come to him, and having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing he gave them his glory.

Jesus gave us His glory but what are we doing with it? Are we shining His glory? The time to submit is now. God is ready and waiting for you. He is calling you! He has forgiven you! He has chosen you! He has redeemed you! He has restored you! You are a new creation in Him!

Ephesians 2:10 (AMP) – For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above-spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life he rearranged and made ready for us].

Let’s get ready to live the good life God has called us to live!

Father ,we thank you for the calling you have prepared for us. Today we chose to be Your instruments. Let us shine Your glory! Give us the boldness and strength to do Your works and take the path You have already set for us.
