Five Scriptures To Prove The Power Of Praise

Last week I talked about spiritual battle.

The two ways to prepare and fight are through prayer and the word of God. Today I want to talk about the power of praise.

Yes, praise is a weapon! When we praise our heavenly Father, He will reveal secrets hidden in darkness. He wants to give us the passwords to the accounts we are trying to access. He wants to unlock the answers we have been waiting for. He gives us strength and power when we praise.

Why is there power in praise?

Because the devil hates it! Just think about it, back in the day Lucifer was a part of and experienced Godly praise. The devil knows the power of praise and wants to keep you from it. When you praise God, the devil remembers where he came from.

So, no matter what you are going through, praise! Now is the time to take ahold of what our Father promised us and praise Him for it. You may not see your circumstance change right away, you may even have doubt. Just continue to praise. The power of praise is about to change your time and season. The doors are about to be opened and you are about to parade in the brightness of God!

Deuteronomy 10:21 (BBE) – He is your God, the God of your praise, your God who has done for you all these works of power which your eyes have seen.

Daniel 2:20-23 (GNT) – God is wise and powerful! Praise him forever and ever. He controls the times and the seasons; he makes and unmakes kings; it is he who gives wisdom and understanding. He reveals things that are deep and secret, he knows what is hidden in darkness, and he himself is surrounded by light. I praise you and honor you God of my ancestors. You have given me wisdom and strength; you have answered my prayer and shown us what to tell the king.

Psalms 68:35 (NLT) – God is awesome in his sanctuary. The God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God.

Psalms 89:15 (MSG) – Blessed are the people who know the passwords of praise, who shout or parade in the bright presence of God.

Psalms 106:1 (NLT) – Praise the Lord! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

Prayer:

Father, we thank you for your word and power of praise. You said you would give us strength and power. You will give us wisdom and answers we have been waiting for. Your light surrounds us wherever we go. Thank you for the works of power you are about to reveal!
